INFORMATION:

The original airfield was between the High Post Hotel & the firework factory, then later an extension was needed and more of the south side of the road was used. A perimeter track was placed around it (yellow). This track is walk able a right of way. Red dots are pillboxes & yellow dot one that has been removed. I have inset a yellow square. I copied two B1 assembly sheds and added them here where the pair of B1 assembly sheds were situated. They were moved to RAF Boscombe Down in the 50's.
