INFORMATION:
A
look at the front armoured doors. They were steel plated and filled
with gravel. Four large doors allowing access to any size of aircraft
in service in the 1940's.
History : it
was found that adding an Aircraft Storage Unit (ASU) to a station
they could double up on the facilities, so RAF Hullavington had
two jobs now. Then No.9 Maintenance Unit (MU) arrived. By 1939 it
was renumbered No.10 MU.
