INFORMATION: The red brick Ox Building was used in the early days as aircraft hangarage and several canvas hangers were placed around it to form the first Upper Camp, it has now been demolished (yes pre-WW1 built to house Oxen for the farm and was probably early hangarage?) what happened to history! Behind is an RFC 1913 pattern side opening airplane shed now used by The Army Parachute Association. Above : pill box and Nissen hut (salvage clothing store 1950's).
