To get to \Castel Vendon, follow the D45 out of Cherbourg, through Urville-Naqueville and the battery is 3.5 Km. The Battery is on your right.

Caste Vendon is also the site of a very interesting battery that never was.The French started to build a battery of 340mm guns from two ex Battleship turrets to fit in to their (greater) Maginot Line.
