New Wn201 (Le Perrey) Cap Levi, east of Cherbourg. Part of Wn201 defences which I think is covers the whole area of Cap Levi. This is (Le Perrey) the western side of the Cap and it matches the eastern side Wn201 (Port Pignot). There are several main numbered bunkers but mostly just open emplacements and field positions.

New RAF Lasham, Hampshire, England an airfield built for bombers and used by fighters, scrapped a lot of airliners and is storing many bankrupt airlines planes today. Now one of the largest gliding airfields in the world. Oh! and a lovely little museum.

New RAF Abingdon, Oxford, England started in the 1920's & opened in 1932 as a bomber airfield. Throughout the war used as a bomber Operational Training Unit and post war Transport & Air Support Commands with Beverly's & Belfast's. Closed 1992.

New RAF Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, England a WW1 aerodrome closed by 1920, 1929 bought back by the Air Ministry and opened as a bomber station. In the Battle of Britain used as a fighter field, and aircraft test centre. I have a lot more information but not enough pictures, so this section is incomplete and will need updating as I can get new pictures.

New RAF Calshot, Hampshire, England where seaplanes & flying boats once ruled the runways, yes they were runways although on water. Lawrence of Arabia, Princess, Sunderland, Southampton's, Walrus flying boats, Supermarine S6b, Fairey IIIf's, Camel, F5's seaplanes, Schneider Cup races, the RAF, RFC, RN, was all here. Now its the RNLI, sports men/women, bicycles, ski/snow boarders, kite/surfers, bird spotters & beach huts, RFC/RAF air & boats crews, pilots, engineers, ERKS and people from Tristan da Cunha.

New RAF Kenley, Surrey, England a Battle of Britain airfield. Sat on the top of a hill surrounded by what is now the bottom half of London, it makes a lovely walk around the perimeter track and there is lots to see if you search it out. There are two Picket Hamilton pillboxes to find (we did not) and a few more bits that we missed but we found enough on a very sunny Sunday in September.

New & Updated I have now placed over 122 photos of RNAS St Merryn, HMS Vulture and set it out into four areas. If anybody can help with naming buildings on the airfield I would be very grateful. I have had some help so far and I would like to thank them for all their help.

This is a gas decontamination building at RNAS St Merryn, HMS Vulture. It would have been nice to place some sunny pictures but as it was July when we visited, it rained all **^&x+£ day.
I am gradually updating RNAS St Merryn, HMS Vulture Cornwall.
