INFORMATION:

The whole camp runs along the old Roman road from Salisbury to the Roman Town of Silchester.

History : flying started at Ford Farm in 1917. For the rest of WW1 it was a bomber training school and after the war it changed to Army Co-operation.

It was closed in 1979.
