INFORMATION:

The main airfield has many storage hangars with two aircraft dispersal areas, the main camp and the old RAF hospital.

History
By April 1938 work was started for an airfield as an Electrical & Wireless School and No.15 MU (Maintenance Unit). Aircraft would come from the manufacturers for storage and modification to service standards.
