INFORMATION:

20 Kilometres to the east of Cherbourg is Gatteville which has an extremely high lighthouse. On the east side of the Gatteville peninsular is the defence area Wn123. A very interesting defence with concrete trenches now some converted into waterways for the local fish farm.
