The second aircraft’s markings could be “JE J” which were painted on to Johnnie Johnson Spitfire and almost certainly the picture is Kenley and after EN 398 had been flown there from Chattis Hill.

The owner of the assembly site would like to point out that it is now on private land and is only accessible with his permission. There is also CCTV in operation.

I'm Andrew Foster you will remember I allowed you to look at the old Spitfire site at Chattis hill
This did not mean it was available to any person to wander about without my express permission
Your site suggests people are free to wander about , this is unacceptable and people found on my property will be escorted off
THE SITE IN MONITORED BY CCTV
I would not refuse viewing provided I was contacted first
Many thanks
Andrew
