Possibly the only fighter blast pen left at M.W. I can remember several along the side of the A343 but they were removed as 'a danger to flying!'

History : another raid when an airman tried to shut No.609 Squadrons 'C' type hangar door to protect the planes inside. The door was hit by a bomb and three airman, three civilians died, three Blenheims and two spitfires were lost.
