Situated on the N/S No.1 runway (19) is this farm shed, not part of the airfield.

History : opened in 1943 and closed in 1947, mostly used by Transport Command. In February 1944 512Sqdn and 575Sqdn Dakotas arrived and some bringing Horsa gliders.
