INFORMATION:

Battery Todt 4 casemates of 38cm SKC/34 guns. MAA 242 with Kapitanleutnant Klauss Momber in charge.

Building started in November 1940 with an open emplacement and a steel turret. By 1942 800tons of concrete was added to create a full casemate over the turrets.

Dr Fritz Todt the architect of Hitler's new Reich died in an air crash so the Battery was re named in his honour.
