INFORMATION:

The small seaside town of Arromanches-les-Bains situated a few kilometre's north of city of Bayeux. The town was chosen by the D-day planners as the site for a massive portable harbour code named Mulberry, named after the tree the planners were sitting under at Exbury House go to history.

This harbour would be built in sections, floated across the channel and assembled into a a working port.
