A standard 1930's expansion period bomb store.
Inset: are two pictures, one from an air photo showing that there were two sets of six bomb stores and in the middle a set of four component stores. The air photo was taken in 1967. The other is from an OS. map. There could have been blast wall earth traverses around them.
History: with France now in enemy hands Spitfires of No.234 Squadron turn up for convoy patrols.
