This is a satellite picture of the modern Hurn Airport. The main runway has been extended in the west and parts of the spectacle dispersals have been built on and used as roadways. Brand new factories and offices have been built mixed with post war hangars built for Airspeed/Vickers and the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) to build several famous planes like the Vickers Viscount and the BAC 111. and in between all this you can still find the odd Bellman and T2 hangar and Temporary Brick hutting from the war.
