T4 - a set of Tobruk defences out in the front of the emplacement, some tunnels connecting them and trenches. A 7.5cm F.K.235(f) that could be used as defence or throwing up star shells if needed. A 2cm Flak AA gun. A munitions bunker.
The * are I believe the sites of explosions, either bomb, artillery or ships guns, or just areas that the ammunition was exploded by American Engineers post campaign.

Details

Plan of T4 Geschützstellung or open emplacement, showing the gun ring with a 360° turn and then two walls either sides (like horns) and an ammunition room behind. When built in full it would then have had a concrete and steel lid put over the top, making it a casemate and only able to fire forward. When we visited in 2000 it was very hard to find and access was very difficult, houses and gardens are built very close to it.

Elevation plans of the ammunition store this part completed but I believe destroyed by either bombing, shelling or after action, the use of blowing up all the remaining ammunition?.
A 2cm Flak was mounter onto the roof of this building.

1958 and you can see the 'Horn' walls damaged but still there, the rear E shaped ammunition storage has not been built yet and the long ammunition room has been destroyed. The Flak emplacement shows up very well.
