INFORMATION:
Built on open fields to the west of Andover this standard 1917 RFC aerodrome with its three double Belfast Truss Airplane Sheds and one repair shed. A full set of administrative, MT, teaching, accommodation, Officers mess, Sgts Mess, Regimental institute and Women’s hostel. Also several Bessonneau hangars.

History: Many squadrons were formed here and then went off to war and later it became the N2 SoN&BD (School of (Aerial) Navigation and Bomb Dropping).
