INFORMATION:

The red circle covers the area of StP235 Carneville Osteck Luftwaffe Station "Taussendfussler". A fortress in its own right and a large radar complex. With Westeck on the other side of Cherbourg, these two defence/radar points helped with many other complexes to defend the port of Cherbourg

There are many bunkers, AA emplacements, water reservoirs and accommodation buildings here.
