INFORMATION:

Runway 12 East/ 30 West.

History : January 1943 and the Glider Pilot Exercise Unit arrived from RAF Netheravon for towing training on Horsa gliders.
By May 1943 they returned to Netheravon and the airfield was turned over to the Americans.
