INFORMATION:
D12
was a very large site with NOTHING remaining. I searched along the track marked
1 through the remaining woods. We met the
farmers son who took us down to 2 and explained
that a large road had been built at great expense of hard-core in a semicircle
in what is now pasture. In 1944 it was all woodland and when the war was over
everything was removed, the road dug up and the woodland gradually cut down.
