INFORMATION:

The battery position is just past Ars-en-Re bypass, look out for the Dechetterie signs and turn in there. Park by the gate.

There are many bunkers, gun positions, buildings, fire control tower, etc. to find. We spent three& a half hours walking around in the pleasant winter sunshine. A good plan is needed (we had the one from Alain Chazette's Atlantikwall and there are other good ones out there on the internet).
