It looks here as though a battle happened here. These are bullet marks possibly from a Thompson sub-machine gun.

Above : the door also looks that it may have had an explosive charge placed here.
There was a lot of hard fighting in this area with the 101 Airborne & the Glider Infantry after the 6th of June 1944.
