INFORMATION:
A large noise reflecting pan was constructed to the far SW. This all came to an abrupt end when HRH Philip complained about the noise. The Avon was removed and the sit decommissioned. The Fairy Rotordyne rig was just a single rotor blade balanced against a counter weight. Also at Aston Down up until the mid/late 90's where large quantities of aircraft jigs.
