INFORMATION:
'This Memorial is erected by the Captain Officers and Men of the ROYAL NAVAL AIR STATION FORD in memory of those who lost their lives as a result of enemy action on the 18th August 1940'.
Below it are the names of the service personnel and civilians that died.
In front of the memorial are many graves of service personnel who have died over the years that Ford was in use.
