INFORMATION:

There was going to be at least 40 proposed V1 sites in Manche, Normandy. Some two to three were going to be vast concrete buildings that could fire V1 & the later V2, then about eight heavy sites with large buildings. As these were found by photo reconnaissance and unmercifully bombed a new type light sites were built. No144 Tonneville was one of this types. Later again even lighter sites were produced.
