Romney hut Main Store.

History : several Spitfire & Hurricane squadrons came and went, none stayed very long and by late 1941 Chilbolton was up-graded with the addition of a perimeter track and several dispersals (some fighter pens). By November it was placed into Care & Maintenance as there was no use for it by then as the B of B had ended and there were sufficient airfields in the area to continue the war without it.
