A standard gymnasium with church extension but has no projector room. This was built after the war had started when many more men were needed in the RAF and camps also needed to disperse accommodation. The Gym was built down in the village..

History : RAF Middle Wallop is an RAF expansion scheme bomber airfield. Five 'C' type hangars grouped together, two hangars per bomber squadron and one repair shed. The rest of the camp laid out behind with H block living accommodation, mess accommodation, offices and stores.
