You cannot enter the farmland there is nothing to see anyway as all the remains have now been totally removed.
I was invited to watch the recovery of the propeller blades & hub assembly of a Spitfire I N3231 removed from the banks of the River Stour at Child Okeford. All the relevant paper work had been done & permeation had been granted by the land owner. The recovery started 30th may 2009 where by a quantity of parts were recovered by hand together with freeing and revealing the propeller.
