The Skoda gun complemented the gun in the H612 at the other end of the town, both enfilade the complete beach. The Skoda gun was gradually being replaced by 5cm KwK guns and then 7.5cm/8.8cm in larger casemate.
Above : is Wn10 Utah Beach where a Skoda Vf bunker has been superseded by an H677.
