INFORMATION:
The tyre's are sitting on the perimeter track which curves to the right and then left around the hedge in the middle distance with a nice view of Chichester Cathedral.
History: this was now early 1943 and No.485 RNAF moved in with more Spitfires. They were joined by Hurricanes of No.184 Squadron fighter bombers with rocket firing capability.

They were replaced by No.174 Sqdn with Typhoons.
