How the bunker and extensive tower looked. It probably commanded all the heavy Flak in the and fed into the Flak defence of Germany systems.

MKB Bunkertour plan of the Kommando.
The large SK bunker was in operation with the Luftwaffe in the early part of the war. On top of the bunker was a three-level tower, of which the upper part was constructed in brick. The tower was demolished in the late 1980s. In front of the bunker were small brick constructions, which have also disappeared. The bunker has two entrances, a long corridor giving access to four rooms, toilets, a generator room, a storage space for coal and a staircase leading to the tower. The dimensions of the bunker are 29,5m by 11,9m. Its height (including the tower) was 13 metres.Presumably, though this is by no means certain, the tower (and bunker) had an air traffic control function, thus guiding aircraft in and out the surrounding airfields (Saint-Inglevert, Audembert, Marquise, Wissant, Guines, Fiennes, Pihen, Caffiers and others).
In this capacity, it would thus have been serving Jagdgeschwaders 26, 27 and 51 during the Battle of Britain. However, a question that still remains is which headquarters unit, if any, was present in the bunker. Two possibilities present themselves. Either the bunker was a part of Jagdfliegerführer 2, which between the summer of 1940 and the summer of 1941 was based in Wissant.
Or the installation was run by the Fliegerhorstkommandantur E 13/VII in nearby Marquise. At some point the Luftwaffe present at the site must have stopped, though it is impossible to say exactly when. What we do know, however, is that in in May 1944, the strong point was occupied by the Heer and that the map involved shows the strong point to be in the area occupied by the 3 Kompanie/Reservegrenadierbataillon 438/Reservegrenadierregiment 112/182 Reservedivsion, which company was head quartered in Bazinghen. We did drive up there in May 2018 but I am afraid we missed this one. The bunker is in the gap between the trees.
Possibly women were used in the plotting room?
