A plan of Manningford RLG, Wiltshire. There were no buildings. Opened 1939 as a relief landing ground for RAF Upavon Central Flying School (CFS). Flying Avro Tutors. Practicing take offs, landings and circuits. No.29 EFTS RAF Clyffe Pypard took over from 1942 with Magesters and Tiger Moths. Transferred to Yatesbury in 1946 and closed down 1947.
