Laffaux 160meters above sea level, this was a 10.5cm Flak position covering the east side of FHQ.

Laffaux 160m above sea level, this is a six gun batterie of 10.5cm Flak position and three 2cm Flak 30 for lower level. They can all be used in all round defence of the area as a ground roll if necessary. Sitting as it does on the top of a plateaux with views for 360° for many Kilometres.

The route taken, this was November and the woodland undergrowth had not died down enough. So I would suggest a visit just before spring. the small woodland to the west I think has been removed since the air-photos were taken and the fields is now ploughed and sown with winter wheat.
The batterie B originally consisted of at least 39 buildings:
