Vf2b was a Gruppe shelter a 1942 design of one room and a passage entrance acting as a sort of blast wall. Most have an escape hatch in one of the walls and a steel door (now removed ).

Notice the double set of slots, to me they may have been where large bulks of timber could be set between the bunkers. The two rows timber could have had sand or fine pebble infill to act as an armoured protection and can also be taken down to allow the radar to be removed and replaced.

The FuSE-65 Giant Würzburg radar was developed by the Telefunken Co., it was used to locate and track Allied aircraft & shipping (as a secondary use). A pair of Würzburg antennas were used together; one to track Allied aircraft and the second to guide German fighters with the help of the Freya set.
